Crazy Quilting
Crazy Quilting has been around since the 1880's. This is a type of quilting that does not have any pattern or geometrical designs.
I can remember my grandmother taking all of her dress pieces, sewing them together, then cutting out for dresses for her granddaughters. So all the granddaughters had elegant looking patchwork dresses that we were only allow to wear to church.
The great idea about making Crazy Quilts is there is imagination in the quilt. It is nice to embellish these types of quilts with all kinds of items like buttons, flashy bling, ribbons, etc. This type of project will let the imagination and creativity go wild!
